We have proudly partnered with Soap Aid since 2018 to take action and transform lives, by working together to collect, recycle and distribute soap to communities facing major hygiene challenges. Since joining, we have consistently collected used soap from our accommodation totalling over 5,200 recycled soap bars, in-turn enabling SoapAid to supply 433 disadvantaged families with soap for an entire year.

The closest airport to Wangaratta is the Albury Airport (78 km away). Car hire is then the best mode of transport to travel Wangaratta. Train services (V-line or NSW link) are also available to Wangaratta Station and is within 5 minute walk to our property.
All our rooms are allocated free parking. The underground car park, accessible from Ryley Street, offers Tesla charging, has a height restriction of 2 metres and offers lockable gate entry from 9PM. Off-street parking is accessible from Ovens Street. The surrounding street parking is free and unlimited.

The Gateway is also well connected for travellers, located only 2.5 hours from Melbourne, 45 minutes from Albury via the Hume Freeway, and around an hour from Bright.
