A request for early check-in can be made with our Gateway reception team, however, it is not guaranteed. While we will always do our best to have the room ready for you if you wish to guarantee an early check-in the room should be booked for the night prior.
Yes. Wangaratta is close to many north east Victorian wineries, including the King Valley, Rutherglen, Beechworth and Glenrowan wine regions where visitors can explore a variety of cellar doors and enjoy tastings of locally produced wines.
If you’d like a later check-out, please contact reception the day prior to your departure to discuss. We are also able to store your luggage for the day while you continue to explore Wangaratta.
Yes. The reception team at Quality Hotel Wangaratta are happy to provide recommendations or assist with bookings for local tours, attractions, and experiences.
The minimum check-in age for the main guest on the reservation is 18 years. Photo ID may be requested at check-in.
Upper King Valley wineries including Pizzini, Chrismont and Dal Zotto are approximately a 30 to 40 minute drive from Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway. The lower King Valley offers wine experiences at Brown Brothers and Sam Miranda and is an easy 15 minute drive from Wangaratta.
The Gateway is the only Wangaratta Hotel with 24 hour reception. Our reception desk is open from 7AM – 11PM daily with a night manager onsite for after-hours (11PM – 7AM). Dial 9 from your in room phone.
Visitors can enjoy cycling, walking trails, wine touring, and exploring nearby rivers and parklands around Wangaratta.
The main entrance on Ryley Street has a phone that connects straight to the night manager. Located on the reception wall at the top of the front entry steps, simply lift the handset for our night manager to open reception and check you in.
We are located a short, easy 10 minute stroll to the town centre, including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and speciality stores. We also offer e-bike hire at both half day and full day rates.
The closest airport to Wangaratta is the Albury Airport (78 km away). Car hire is then the best mode of transport to travel Wangaratta. Train services (V-line or NSW link) are also available to Wangaratta Station and is within 5 minute walk to our property.
All our rooms are allocated free parking. The underground car park is accessible from Ryley Street, has a height restriction of 2 metres, with lockable gate entry from 9PM daily. Off-street parking and a disabled carpark is also available at the Ovens Street entry. The surrounding street parking is free and unlimited.
Our multi-level hotel offers elevator access to all floors. With Lift 1 situated in the centre of our building, you are close to the hotel reception, restaurant, lounge and cocktail bar. Lift 2 is situated at the east end of the hotel providing direct access to Level 4 apartments and rooms in this wing.
Yes! We have an outdoor heated pool with spa and sauna facilities. These facilities are for our in-house guests only and are open from 7am – 9pm daily.
